Mrs. Cara Seymour teaches Special Education, at the high school. She has been teaching for 13 years and 11 of those years, she taught in upstate New York. In her two years of teaching outside of New York, she taught for one year in West Virginia and the other year in Pennsylvania.During the school year, she hopes to get to know her students and help them reach success.

Seymour is married and has three children, an 8-year-old and a set of 5-year-old twins. When she isn’t at school, she enjoys being outside and around nature. One of her favorite things to do is to go kayaking. In New York, her and her family would stay out on the lake.
“I love teaching. I love the ability to be creative and make learning a fun process,” Seymour said.
