Fall athletes reflect on season
Junior Christopher Bohach
Why did you start playing soccer? I started playing because all of my good friends play it and I always enjoy playing the sport when I can.
What inspires you to play soccer? Just the joy of the game and the good time I have playing, along with making memories I’ll always remember.
What’s the relationship like with the team? I would say that our team is super close to one another. We’ve all grown up with each other, and the dedication makes us all ready to commit to a new season every year.
Junior Jacklyn Hartle
Why did you start playing soccer? I started playing soccer because I’m a very competitive person and my sister was playing, so I decided to play because she was and I wanted to be better at it than her.
What inspires you to play soccer? Honestly, playing soccer and being a goalkeeper is a lot of fun for me and it makes me feel really motivated to be there for my team and to do the best of my abilities.
What’s the relationship like with the team? I think our relationship as a team is really well. We all work well together out on the field and we communicate really well.
Sophomore Jenna Engel
Why did you start playing volleyball? I started playing mostly because my sister played and I remember going to her games and I thought that it would be to fun to fill in her shoes after she quit to play softball.
What inspires you to play volleyball? It motivates me to play because it’s something I really enjoy and it’s something that I’m passionate about.
What’s the relationship like with the team? Our team, yes, we have had our fair share of problems, but, overall we’ve grown to sort of deal with it and grow to be better as a team and as individuals to realize our full potential.
